Nearly 16 months after the murder of his wife and a gas station manager, Omar Mora is still being pursued by police.
Mora, the main suspect in the death of his wife, Lisa Mora, and Phillips 66 employee Harpal Singh, was last seen May 23, 2007.
On that day, police were dispatched to Phillips 66, East Center Street, Warsaw, after a caller reported shots fired.When police arrived they found Singh, also known as "KJ", shot seven times in the head and chest. Singh was pronounced dead at the scene.
Several minutes later, police received another call of shots fired, this time at Mora's residence on Vicky Lane in the Country Subdivision.
When police arrived to the Moras' home, they discovered Lisa Mora had been fatally wounded.
Omar Mora, who was identified as the gunman at both scenes by witnesses, fled the scene in a 2003 Chevy Silverado truck. Police combed the area but were never able to find Mora.
A small break in the case came two months later when Mora's truck was found on a street near an expressway in Chicago.
Police are currently looking for new leads in the case.
Police said that Mora, who is originally from Mexico, could either be in the United States or Mexico.
Mora, described as 5 foot, 7 inches, 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, is fluent in both English and Spanish and previously worked as a supervisor in the manufacturing field.
The family of Lisa Mora, along with local crime agencies, have renewed a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Omar Mora.
