A Fort Wayne man's complaint of neck pain was the only injury reported from Monday's eight-car collision on U.S. 30W.
According to a report from the Warsaw Police Department, Cord M. Julian, 39, Timberline Circle, Warsaw, was attempting to switch lanes on U.S. 30W at the Ind. 15 overpass when ice on the road caused him to lose control of his vehicle.
Robin L. Elder, 44, Normandy Lane, Warsaw; Michael R. Tellez, 50, Fremont; Candace M. Kizer, 46, East Springfield Drive, Warsaw; Robert L. Nelson, 36, Fort Wayne; Erica L. Bibler, 36, Jean Street, Winona Lake; Joe D. Stephens, 41, West Wayne Street, Pierceton; and Jeffrey A. Olinger, 55, Huntington, all were involved in the collision.
Nelson complained of neck pain and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital.
The damage estimate of the accident was between $50,000-$100,000.
Man Busted For Pot In Bathroom
A Warsaw man was arrested for allegedly smoking marijuana in a store's bathroom.
The Warsaw Police Department responded to a call at the Dollar General Store in Warsaw Saturday. When police arrived, they arrested Michael Douglas Patton, 56, of 312 Detroit St., Warsaw.
Patton was booked into Kosciusko County Jail at 7:18 p.m. Saturday and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $450.
