SYRACUSE -ÊPolice from Wabash County and Syracuse are working together to investigate an armed robbery and an attempted armed robbery that may be related.
Around 1:09 a.m. today, two unknown armed suspects entered the Lagro Mini-Mart near Wabash and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, cigarettes and prepaid telephone cards.
Then around 3:48 a.m. today, there was an armed robbery attempt at the McDonald's restaurant in Syracuse. The suspects tried to break into the establishment, but did not gain entry and left.
Police from Wabash County and Syracuse believe the incidents could be related and currently are in the process of investigating both incidents.
No other information was available at press time.
