Posted
Four men were arrested on drug charges Saturday.
Warsaw police received a call from a local hotel after receiving several complaints of the strong odor of marijuana Saturday at 7 p.m., according to a Warsaw Police Department press release.
Officers arrived and were directed to the location where they were met by the renter of the room, George Bolden.
Bolden informed the officers that he had smoked marijuana but there was no more. He gave consent to search the room and officers found multiple baggies of pills that were identified as hydrocodone, a schedule II controlled substance.
Further investigation led officers along with narcotic officers to an apartment on Sophie Lane where more of the same pills were located, along with dextroamphetamine pills, a schedule IV controlled substance. In all, officers seized 1,644 grams of pills, 12.5 grams of marijuana and $4,571 in cash. The street value of the seized pills would have been over $25,000, according to police.
Warsaw Police charged the following suspects: Brandon Bolden, 22, Warsaw, level two felony dealing in over 28 grams of a schedule I, II or III controlled substance, and felony maintaining a common nuisance; George Bolden, 23, Detroit, level 2 felony dealing in over 28 grams of a schedule I, II or III controlled substance; Clifford Brown, 20, Novi, Mich., level two felony dealing in over 28 grams of a schedule I, II or III controlled substance, and felony possession of a schedule I, II or III controlled substance with intent to deal; and Jamari Rhodes, 21, Detroit, Mich., level two felony dealing in over 28 grams of a schedule I, II or III controlled substance.
