The cause of injuries of a 6-month-old Warsaw girl who remains in serious condition at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, is being investigated.
Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department responded to a call from the Kosciusko Community Hospital emergency room Tuesday at approximately 6:17 a.m. regarding an injury.The call was for injuries of Madison Cole, 5397 W. Catalpa Lane, Warsaw, according to Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department Public Information Officer Chad Hill.
Madison is the daughter of Jennifer Cole. Her father's name was unavailable. Jennifer took her daughter to the hospital.
The child was immediately transported by Multi-Township EMS to Lutheran Hospital, where she was placed in the hospital's pediatric intensive care unit.
The details and cause of Cole's injuries are still being investigated, Hill said.
KCSD detectives currently are working along with Warsaw police detectives on the incident and had a joint meeting today to combine information from the case, Hill said.
As of press time today, no other information is being released.
