I see by the press that Terre Haute is so crime free they can afford to send their chief of police for a year to train Afghanistan police on how to apply Western civilization police tactics to a non-Western civilization country.
Do you remember Vietnam? The minute we left, the police we had trained either immediately joined up with the communists or they were shot. The same will happen when uncle sappy runs out of borrowed money and leaves the non-nation Afghanistan. The Taliban will take over again and simply absorb the police or execute them.
Meanwhile Terre Haute's crime rate I'm sure didn't drop. It reminds me of all the chiefs of police around the country that Israel has paid first-class tickets to come visit their "democracy". Perhaps to learn how to board unarmed ships on the high seas to commit murder. I'm not sure who taught who, but I imagine the Israeli police instructed American police how to more efficiently beat up and interrogate Palestinians. Something we really need back in this country.
I suggest firing the Terre Haute chief of police and hiring a chief with more loyalty to the taxpayers of Terre Haute. Or do we now have world chiefs of police sort of like Sen. Lex Lugar?
On another subject, Goldman Sachs and all of their banker criminal friends stole trillions from the taxpayers. And with the bailouts it appears they were rewarded for doing it. Now banks that received the bailouts (more borrowed money) are extremely tightfisted to loan it out to the taxpayers. I am amazed that a bank is rarely robbed. If the people really understood the gravity of the crimes against them by the bankers there would be hundreds of bank robberies every day.
