Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Poe, Claypool, will celebrate their 50th anniversary June 28, 2013. Boyd and the former Shirley Hite were married June 28, 1963, by the Rev. Albert Whitaker in his home. Boyd retired from Jo Mac Products in 2002 after 44 years. Shirley retired from Zimmer after 20 years in 2001. The couple have two sons, Stephen (and spouse Regina), Claypool, and William “Bill,” Cromwell, and a daughter, Sheila Lynnette, who is deceased. They have three step-grandchildren.
