WINONA LAKE — Grace College will host the Champions Classic Tour April 13 at the Orthopaedic Capital Center, featuring a game between stars from the Atlantic Coast Conference against collegiate players from the state of Indiana.
This year’s ACC roster is highlighted with players from North Carolina, Duke, and NC State, headlined by Warsaw’s Miles Plumlee of Duke and ACC Player of the Year Tyler Zeller.
Expected to play for the Indiana team are seniors from Indiana University, as well as Robbie Hummel, Lewis Jackson, and Ryne Smith from Purdue. In addition, the Indiana roster will be filled by First Team All Conference players from the NCCAA.
Tickets are now on sale at Grace College and Warsaw Community High School.
General admission tickets will be $10, and a limited number of VIP tickets are available for $75. VIP tickets include a post game reception with the two teams and front row reserved seating to the game.
Fans are encouraged to buy their tickets in advance because a sellout crowd is expected, so there will only be a limited number of tickets available at the door on the day of the game. During halftime, there will be a three-point contest and a dunk contest. Players will be available following the game for autographs.
The Champions Classic Tour is sponsored by The Sumner Group based out of North Carolina. The Sumner Group has promoted the ACC Barnstorming Tour and has been touring across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia for over 30 years with the likes of Sidney Lowe, Len Bias, Michael Jordan, Tyler Hansbrough, and Nolan Smith.
A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House and Grace College. For more information or to order tickets, please call 800-331-4613.
