ARDEN, N.C. - Senior Leader Mason Plumlee was the recipient of the prestigious Headmaster's Cup at Christ School's year-end ceremony in Arden, NC.
This honor is awarded to the senior who has demonstrated exemplary character and leadership and has represented the school with humility and dignity throughout his tenure at Christ School.Plumlee, a member of the National Honor Society, also was awarded The Athletic Cup at Christ School. The Athletic Cup is an award presented to the senior athlete who has shown the most ability, leadership and integrity. The recipient is determined by a vote of the coaching staff.
Mason and his brother Marshall both played on Christ School's state championship basketball team. Mason will join his older brother, Miles, at Duke University. They are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Millard P. Plumlee III, Winona Lake.
Founded in 1900, Christ School is an all-boys college preparatory boarding and day school, grades 8-12. The school is affiliated with the Episcopal Church and serves young men from 17 states and eight foreign countries. It is located on a 500-acre wooded campus near Asheville, NC.
