SYRACUSE – Lakes Area Players’ cast and crew are putting the finishing touches on the 2016 “Christ’s Passion” show before opening to the public at 7 p.m. Friday. The massive set at Quaker Haven Camp, 111 EMS D16 Lane, Syracuse, depicts Jerusalem 2000 years ago. “Our crew has been working round the clock to make sure the lighting, sound and special effects run smoothly,” said Director Elaine Pearson. “We have a huge cast and crew, all have worked so hard on this production. A run of six shows requires a lot of dedication by those involved … but we are here to touch people’s hearts and tell the greatest story ever told.” The musical theater production will be offered at 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday and March 25 and at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and March 26.
