Planners To Review Restaurant Proposal

Posted
Warsaw Plan Commission will review tonight a development plan for a proposed Culver's Restaurant in Warsaw.

Warsaw Traffic and Safety Commission Jan. 8 accepted a recommendation that a traffic signal is not warranted for an intersection near the proposed restaurant.

The commission reviewed a traffic signal warrant study, conducted by Yarger Engineering, Indianapolis, that concluded that the intersection of Parker Street, Husky Trail and Patterson Road will not warrant a traffic signal.

Lennington Realty Group LLC, Fort Wayne, is proposing a 3,954-square-foot restaurant be built on the southeast corner of the U.S. 30 and Parker Street intersection. If approved, it will be built southeast of the Menards store that is scheduled to open in April.

The board will meet at 7 p.m. tonight at city hall to review the proposal.
