Planners Look At Final Plats

Posted

Final plats will be evaluated for developing properties along CR 175E tonight during Warsaw's Plan Commission meeting, as well as a preliminary plat consideration for a Lake City Business Center on U.S. 30.

Two subdivisions adjacent to one another on CR 175E will be reviewed and potentially granted final approval, given both developers followed guidelines required by the city during preliminary approval.

Center Crest, a 22-lot commercial subdivision just north of U.S. 30, and Paths of Deerfield, a 40-acre, 109-lot residential complex, are both recommended by the planning department to be approved by the commission.

Also on the agenda is the preliminary plat request for a two-lot commercial addition on the northwest corner of CR 250E and U.S. 30.

The proposed section of the Lake City Business Center currently consists of a larger 8.7-acre commercial lot surrounding a smaller 2.9-acre unit. Departmental reports said the smaller lot merely separates a detention pond from developable land on the property.

Because the plat design includes only two lots, the planning department recommends both preliminary and final plat approval for the subdivision.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at city hall.

Commission members are Joe Thallemer, Jeff Grose, Alan Clingan, Tammy Dalton, Jim Gast, Lacy Francis and Rick Keeven.
