Planner Provides Parker/Argonne Road Project Update

Posted
Work is continuing on the Parker Street and Argonne Road project.

The week of Sept. 21, the contractor will switch sides of the Center Street intersection.

East- and westbound traffic will be moved over to the newly constructed portion of the Center Street intersection, according to Warsaw City Planner Jeremy Skinner.During this time frame, Argonne Road, Market Street and Jefferson Street will be re-opened to traffic while the contractor completes the second phase of the Center Street intersection.

The new traffic signal at Jefferson Street and Argonne Road will be in operation, and Warsaw will sign the intersection to make people aware of the traffic signal.

Around the end of October, there will be temporary closures at intersections including Jefferson, Market and Parker streets, as the final top coat and lane markings are installed.

There may be further restrictions to traffic as the traffic signal loops are installed in late October or early November.
