Joe and Nancy Pirtle, Carmel, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary June 6, 2013. Joe and the former Nancy Ehrhardt were married June 6, 1953, at Kokomo Methodist, by the Rev. Bailey. Joe is in financial insurance and Nancy is a homemaker. They have three children: Doug (and spouse Shelley) Pirtle, Fort Myers, Fla.; Jay Pirtle, Tippecanoe Lake; and Drew Pirtle, Indianapolis; and six grandchildren. The couple will celebrate with a family dinner.
