'Pirates And Princesses' Theme For This Year's Kid-O-Rama Festival Sept. 20

WABASH - "Pirates and Princesses" will be the theme for this year's Kid-O-Rama festival.
The annual family event will take place at the Honeywell Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 20. Activities and events are planned on the plaza and in the lobby.
Admission is free in part thanks to the corporate sponsorship provided by Wabash County Hospital.Plaza activities will include "make and take" crafts, courtesy of the Wabash Arts Council. Crafts include pirate hats, eyepatches, princess tiaras, magic wands and necklaces. In addition, there will be a small animal petting farm and free rides including pony rides, ferris wheel, mini airplanes and swings.
At 11 a.m., Jetta and the Jellybeans will present an interactive musical performance on the outdoor plaza stage. Provided by Tiede Metz & Downs and Comteck Internet, Jetta's presentations combine music, comedy and education, keeping even the youngest audience members entertained.
Inside the main lobby, the Kid Zone will offer kite making and vendor booths that have giveaways, games and prizes.
Kid-O-Rama is presented as part of the Honeywell Center's Educational Outreach Program.
