A Pierceton man was not seriously injured after his ultralight plane overturned at the Warsaw Municipal Airport Saturday afternoon.
Around 1:49 p.m. Saturday, Mark Victor VandeWalle, 53, of 7401 Shoop Road, Pierceton, had engine problems with his red 2003 Polaris Skin Ultralite. The aircraft then overturned.
VandeWalle was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital in a private vehicle. Although the extent of his injuries was unknown, police do not believe the injuries were serious.
