Pierceton Students Invent

Posted

Students in Kathy Garber's third-grade class at Pierceton Elementary were asked to construct a compound/complex machine for a science project. The invention had to be composed of at least two machines. It could not be operated by any power source other than the hands to start it. No batteries or electricity could be used. Students could use any materials found around their house. Many of the inventions will be displayed at the Science/Learning Fair March 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Pierceton Elementary. Pictured are Adreanna Hathaway and her hamster feeder, Nicole Lawson and her cat feeder, and Nikkya Clifton and her cat bed.
