NOTICE OF SALE OF AUTOMOBILE BY THE TOWN OF PIERCETON, INDIANA Notice is hereby given that on the 12th day of August, 2013 at 6:35 p.m. at the Pierceton Community Building located at 105 Walnut Street, Pierceton, Indiana, the Pierceton Town Council will offer for sale a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria police interceptor vehicle that is painted in a color scheme of more than one (1) color (with approximately 125,000), which sale shall be subject to the following conditions and requirements. 1) The vehicle will be sold to the highest responsible bidder, but the Town Council reserves the right to refuse to accept any offer that is less than $1,500.00, but also reserves the right to waive or reduce the reserve amount upon a majority vote of the Town Council. 2) Pursuant to IC 5-22-22-9 the person purchasing the vehicle as required in the statute if the purchaser or anyone to whom he may sell the property will operate the vehicle on a public highway in Indiana.
