The weather was perfect for the Spirit Day Parade that marched through the streets of Pierceton Tuesday. Led by the Whitko High School Marching Band, nearly 600 Pierceton Elementary students showed their school spirit by carrying banners they made telling what they like about their school. Residents of Pierceton reportedly enjoyed the parade so much they hope it will become an annual event. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
