A Pierceton man is in stable condition today after an 8:48 p.m. accident Saturday.
According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department report, Ronnie Sexton, 60, West Elm Street, Pierceton, lost control of his vehicle while traveling on a curve on Pierceton Road. The vehicle left the road and went into a field, overturning three times. The vehicle came to a rest in a Zolman Farms bean field.
Sexton complained of chest pain and was admitted to Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, where he remains in stable condition.
Sexton was given a blood test for alcohol and reportedly had a blood-alcohol level of 0.0023.
Damage to Sexton's vehicle is estimated at $750 to $1,000. He was not wearing a seat belt, but was not ejected from the vehicle, according to police.
