Pierceton Man Arrested On Indecent Exposure Allegations

PIERCETON – A Pierceton man was charged Wednesday night with exposing himself to juveniles.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department received a call Wednesday at approximately 9:34 p.m. in the area of EMS R-4 Lane in Pierceton regarding a possible indecent exposure incident.
According to a release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, deputies spoke with the original caller who stated that a male neighbor had exposed and fondled his genitalia in front of her daughter along with two other juveniles ages 12 to 16.
The complainant stated that after her daughter and the other juveniles reported what they had witnessed, she approached the suspect, later identified as Kevin L. Black, 50, #334 EMS R-4 Lane, Pierceton, and confronted him.
She said that he immediately apologized for his actions, and she told Black that she intended on calling law enforcement.
Deputies located Black and questioned him about the allegations. He provided a statement that he was unaware of performing such an act and that he believed he had possibly suffered a medical incident and seizure.
He also stated that he remembered awakening in his residence with his shorts not on his body.
Deputies arrested Black on a preliminary charge of indecent exposure – fondling with intent to be seen by others.
He is being held on a $350 bond in the Kosciusko County Jail currently.
