Pierceton Man Accused Of Molesting Girl During Supervised Visitation Supervised VisitationA Pierceton man is facing two counts of child molesting after allegedly molesting a girl during supervised visitation at a library.

Daniel Joseph Anderson II, 32, of 3104 E. Wooster Road, lot 29, Pierceton, was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday for child molesting. His preliminary bond was set at $15,250.

Court documents filed today list the charges against him as two counts of child molesting, a level 4 felony, and his bond as $50,000 surety and $250 cash.

On Wednesday, Warsaw Police officer Clayton Rieder met with a child protective services caseworker in reference to a child molesting. She said Anderson has supervised visitation with a child – under the age of 14 – because of a complaint made by the child that Anderson was touching her genitals in spring 2017.

WPD Det. Jeffrey Ticknor met with the caseworker, who said that on Tuesday she participated in a supervised visitation with Anderson and the child at a library.

During the visit, the caseworker saw Anderson sitting next to the child and he put his hand under the table. The motion made the caseworker, who was across the table, uncomfortable. She used her cellphone to take video under the table. In the recording, Anderson takes the child’s hand and places it on his genitals and was reaching for the waistband of the child’s pants.

The caseworker took the child away from the table and spoke with Anderson. She showed him the video and told him he was being inappropriate and asked him to leave.

The child told Ticknor that while sitting at the table, Anderson used his fingers to touch her genitals and put her hand on his genitals. The child said two years ago, while at Anderson’s residence, he held her down and touched her genitals over her clothes, then made her touch his genitals under his clothes and with his fingers. She said Anderson’s pants were unzipped.

Ticknor saw the caseworker’s video and video from the library, verifying the child’s information.

Court documents also state that on Aug. 22, 2017, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s deputy Craig Summers responded to a report of a child being molested by Anderson. The child told Summers that sometime during spring 2017 Anderson made her watch movies where sex was occurring. She said Anderson touched her vagina.
