Recently, members of the Pierceton Lions Club gave a dictionary to each student in the third grade at Pierceton Elementary School. The club has provided these for many years. Teachers Mrs. Garber, Mrs. Underhill and Mrs. Kinney were very excited about getting this gift for the students to use in their classrooms, according to information provided by the club. The students will be allowed to keep them when school is finished at the end of this year. It is believed that a dictionary is an important tool for a quality education, the information states.
