Firemen work to extinguish a fire at 8280 U.S. 30, Lot 29, Regency Estates, Pierceton, at 1:30 a.m. Saturday. According to Pierceton Fire Department Chief Gordon Baker, no injuries were reported in the fire to a mobile home owned by Bambi Swope. He said Swope's mobile home sustained approximately $5,000 damage, and the neighboring mobile home also had about $5,000 damage. The fire was under control within minutes after the firemen arrived, but the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
