Posted
Pierceton Elementary recently held its 16th annual talent show under the direction of Julie Underhill, who took it over when founder Carolyn Nye retired from teaching. Students could enter in four categories, which were vocal, variety, instrumental and dance. This year there were 16 student acts which included 27 students.  Mrs. Ball’s class also did a slide presentation and recited the poem “Invictus.” After the acts concluded and judges Georgia Tenney, Caroline Nye and Pam Baker left to deliberate, the school’s “Dancing Grannies” took the stage dancing to a variety of popular song segments. This group was made up of Principal Nathan Polston and several of his teaching staff.
