PIERCETON – Winners from Pierceton Days activities were announced recently.
The Pierceton Pretty Baby was Hazel Herendeen, daughter of Brady and Ashlynn Herendeen. Runner-up baby was Annabelle Heinold, daughter of Kristopher and Megan Heinold.
The parade winners were: commercial, Pizza King; service club, The Indiana Racing Lions; horse, Seven Heaven Gypsy Vanners and Friends; youth service, Cub Scout Pack 3761; novelty vehicle, Junior Fire Dept. (Terry, Gari, Jayce Robertson); family, Kurt Shepherd and Family; church, Bethel Baptist of Pierceton; marching band, Whitko Marching Band; kiddie float, Trinity Thomas; parade theme, First Baptist Church of Pierceton; miscellaneous, Pierceton Elementary School.
Cutie king (18 months to 3 years) was Owen Powell; cutie king (10 to 12 years), Colten Reffitt; cutie queen (4 to 6 years), Charlotte Ponder; cutie queen (7 to 9 years), Mahaylie Reffitt.
For the car show, best in show went to Dan Bradley, VW Beetle; people’s choice, John Camden; committee favorite, Dave Sloan, 1969 Chevelle SS. Top 25 were Calvin P.
