BREMEN – Phyllis Yoder, 86, of Bremen, a born again Christian, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 1:20 p.m. Oct. 21, 2012, in Bremen Health Care.

She was born Dec. 13, 1925, to Carl Gunterman and Edna Pomeroy.  On April 15, 1944, she married Joseph H. Yoder, who died in September 2003.

She graduated from Bremen High School in 1943. She was part owner of Wa-Chester Equipment Co., Wabash, from 1962-95. She was a member of the Lake Tippy Association and the Red Hat Society.

Surviving are a son, Joseph H. (and spouse Brenda) Yoder, Wabash; four daughters: Kay (and spouse Leonald) Rouch, Bremen; Ann (and spouse Roger) Story, Wabash; Mary Yoder, Ridgeville; and Christine Smith, Warsaw; a special daughter, Carol Funk, Ridgeville; a sister, Carol (and spouse Don) Soales, Elkhart; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Brian Smith.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 Ind. 331 Bremen, with Pastor Ben Hammond officiating. Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery.
