AKRON – Phyllis V. Steele, 86, of 807 E. Main St., Akron, died at 9:47 p.m. March 24, 2015, at her residence. She was born June 24, 1928, in Wabash County, to Carl and Marie Crumrine Summers. On Nov. 7, 1946, in Akron, she married Max Wayne Huffman, who died Dec. 21, 1969. On Jan. 29, 1972, in Chesterton, she married Paul F. Steele, who died Aug. 9, 2004. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Earl-Love Funeral Home, Akron, with the Rev. Terry Canfield of Akron Church of God officiating. Burial is in Akron IOOF Cemetery.
