Phyllis Rhue McKenzie, 70, of 2207 E. CR 550S, Warsaw, died at 5:25 p.m. Nov. 16, 2007, in her residence.
She was born May 14, 1937, in Warsaw, to Jack and Dulcie Shoemaker Shriver. On Jan. 4, 1957, she married Jack McKenzie, who survives.
A lifetime Warsaw resident, she was a homemaker and a member of Living Hope Ministries, Warsaw. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She loved her flowers and gardening.
Also surviving are a daughter, Cathy (and spouse David) Cox, Warsaw; four sons: Mike (and spouse Von) Shepherd, Silver Lake; Rick McKenzie, Columbia City; and Tony (and spouse Hazel) McKenzie and Ron McKenzie, both of Claypool; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lois Marshall, Wildwood, Fla. She was preceded in death by a brother and her parents.
Services will be private.
