NAPPANEE - Phyllis Miller, 80, of Meadows, Nappanee, died at 1:55 p.m. Nov. 14, 2009, in Lakeland Loving Care, Milford.
She was born Jan. 29, 1929, in Bremen, to Elmer and Maxine Fetters Shearer. She married Junior Miller, who preceded her in death.
A lifetime area resident, she was a Bremen High School graduate and formerly worked at Blue Bell, Nappanee, and drove for the Amish community.
Surviving are a daughter, Connie (and spouse George) Newkirk, Nappanee; a son, Michael (and spouse Barbara) Miller, Bourbon; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Norma (and spouse Gary) Montgomery, Bourbon. She was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters and a longtime companion.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Union Center Cemetery.
Calling is one hour prior to the service Wednesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
