Phyllis M. Osborn, 85, of Warsaw, died at 4 a.m. March 28, 2010, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Aug. 3, 1924, in Urbana, Ill., to Philip and Myrtle Bach Crone. On Nov. 15, 1945, in New Lisbon, she married Charles E. Osborn, who died March 3, 1998.
Moving to Warsaw from New Lisbon in 1946, she was a homemaker; a cook for Edgewood Middle School, Warsaw, for eight years; and was devoted to her husband and her family. She graduated from New Lisbon High School in 1942, and was a member of First Christian Church, Warsaw; the Dancing Grannies, Warsaw; 8 Square Home Ec Club; Kosciusko County Senior Club; and Chapman Lake Conservation Club.
Surviving are two sons, Steve (and spouse Anita) Osborn, Greenwood, and Stan (and spouse Linda) Osborn, Warsaw; two grandchildren, Dion (and spouse Amy) Osborn and Melissa (and spouse Matt) Strickler, all of Warsaw; and five great-granddaughters, Megan, Marisa, Makenzie, Elizabeth and Allison. She was preceded in death by a sister, Julia Clements, and two brothers, George and James Crone.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Gary Boschain of First Christian Church, Warsaw. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
