SYRACUSE - Phyllis K. Carter, 84, of Albion, died at 7:15 a.m. July 17, 2007, in Avalon Village, Ligonier.
She was born Nov. 24, 1922, in Churubusco, to Art and Edith Stroh Bonar. She married David Carter, who died in 2003.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Deb) Landa, Syracuse; two sons; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four brothers. She was preceded in death by a son and three sisters.
A private family service will be Thursday with the Rev. Terry Zollman officiating. Burial will be in Sweet Cemetery, Albion.
Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
