KOKOMO - Phyllis "Jean" Mittica, 78, Kokomo, died at 7:45 p.m. March 27, 2008 at Waterford Place Health Campus in Kokomo.
She was born Dec. 1, 1929, in Clymers, to Jessie and Mae Porter Owens. On July 26, 1947, in Logansport, she married Frank R. Mittica, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Jim Mittica, Warsaw; a daughter, five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister; and a brother. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kokomo, with Father Andrew Dudzinski officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery, Kokomo.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, Kokomo.
