Phyllis Jean Hillery Fribley, 86, of Warsaw, died at 10:05 p.m. March 11, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born June 19, 1924, in Warsaw, to Victor and Lola B. Castle Hillery. On June 20, 1942, in Warsaw, she married Wayne E. Fribley, who died Oct. 17, 2001.
She was a homemaker, and she and her husband owned Warsaw Locker Plant and Fribley's Food Service, Warsaw. She also worked at DePuy and Warsaw Foundry. She was a lifetime member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw; a founding member of the Warsaw Chapter of Business Professional Women; and a member of Modern Home Extension Homemakers Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Claudia Fribley McCarty, Westfield; three sons: Michael A. Fribley, Big Timber, Mont.; Mark Paul Fribley, Warsaw; and John A. Fribley, Goshen; an aunt, Betty Gordon, Rochester; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, David Hillery.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Andy Martin officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
