NORTH MANCHESTER - Phyllis Jean Hapner, 69, of North Manchester, died at 6:35 p.m. Feb. 28, 2010, in Wesley Healthcare Center, Auburn.
She was born Oct. 24, 1940, in Wabash, to Mace and Lillian Lucile McDaniel Hapner, and was later adopted by Bennett Ihnen.
She was a machine operator at Dana Corp., Andrews, and was a 1958 graduate of Central High School, North Manchester.
Surviving are four daughters: Janet Louise (and spouse Brian) Moore, Urbana; Sandra Kay Hapner and Kathryn Sue (and spouse Tim) Wallace, all of Fort Wayne; and Linda Maria (and spouse James) King, North Manchester; a brother, Thomas Lee Ihnen, Fort Wayne; and a sister, Donna Mae (and spouse Neal) Burpee, Fort Wayne; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister.
No services are planned.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester.
