NAPPANEE – Phyllis J. Trowbridge-Quillen Huff, 84, Nappanee, died at 4:28 a.m. Oct. 14, 2011, in Bremen Healthcare Center.
She was born Aug. 8, 1927, in Tippecanoe, to James and Katherine Perry Trowbridge. On April 19, 1980, in Nappanee, she married Devoe Huff, who survives.
She was a 1946 graduate of Bourbon High School. She was a homemaker and was a former member of the Eastern Star, where she also played piano for events.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael Quillen, Fort Wayne, and Arthur (and spouse Jan) Quillen, Wheatfield; three granddaughters; and two sisters, Norma (and spouse Ray) Hite, Plymouth, and LouDell Bollinger, Fredericksburg. She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with Pastor Jan Brown officiating. Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
