Phyllis Geraldine “Gerry” Warner, 100, of Grace Village Retirement Community in Winona Lake, died at 8:53 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw.
She was born July 1, 1918, in Mentone, to Mars A. and Fawn Doran Tucker. On Dec. 24, 1940, she was married to Rex Parker; he died in 1976. On July 21, 1979, she married Arden D. Warner; he died May 19, 2014.
She taught at Beaver Dam School.
Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, with visitation two hours prior, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Lake View Cemetery in Silver Lake.
