James and Betty Phillips, of 1380 Michael Ave., Celina, OH 45822, and formerly of Warsaw, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary July 27, 2012.
James and the former Betty Norris were married July 27, 1952, at Evangelical United Brethren Church, Warsaw.
James retired from Otterbein St. Mary’s, St. Mary’s, Ohio. Betty is a homemaker. Both grew up in Warsaw and graduated from Warsaw High School.
The couple has two children, Dr. Stephen (and spouse Rachael) Phillips, Upland, and Dr. Brad (MaryKay) Phillips, Honduras, Central America; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will gather at Brown County State Park at a later date.
