Phillip Alan Johnson, 48, of 2006 Oakwood Drive, Warsaw, died with his parents at his side at 1:35 a.m. Sept. 18, 2009, at Nathan Adelson Hospice, Las Vegas, Nev.
He was born March 28, 1961, in Warsaw, to Butler and Elleree Owens Johnson, who survive in Warsaw. On Dec. 7, 1998, he married June Ann Whitaker, who survives.
He worked at different area businesses throughout the years.
Also surviving are a son, Joshua Tyler Johnson, Warsaw; a stepson, Vincent Soliz, Plymouth; a brother, Rick (and spouse Martha) Johnson, Winona Lake; and a sister, Karen (and spouse Dakota) Seals, Fishers. He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a stepson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Rick Johnson and the Revs. Robie Whitaker and Greathel Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
