Philip Lee SmithPhilip Lee Smith, 83, North Manchester, died at home surrounded by family at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2019.
He was born on May 16, 1936, in Tipton, to Elva Mae Stevens Smith and Morris Thomas Smith. On Aug. 16, 1957, he was married to Marianne Byrum Smith, who survives.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was honorably discharged in 1970.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
His funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, July 1, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Andrew Morton. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Lakeview Cemetery in Silver Lake.
