WINONA LAKE - Tyler J. Petty, son of Gordon and Kirsten Petty, Warsaw, was awarded third place in this year's Conference on Christianity and Literature Student Writing Contest in the fiction category. He received the award for his short story, "Wonders of the World."
Petty recently graduated cum laude from Grace College with a bachelor of arts in English.
As a winner, Petty will receive a selection of books from Eerdmans and WordFarm companies, and a subscription to Image magazine.
