I have a beautiful fawn boxer that is about 10 months old. Her name is Chloe, and I'm afraid she is going to die soon. If you use pet beds for your animals, please watch that they are not chewing them up. Chloe tore hers up and ate some of the filling that looks like cotton batting. Now she can't seem to get it out. She won't eat, but x-rays show her belly is full. Unfortunately, it is full of her bedding. The surgery is extremely expensive, and I'm not able to have it done. Chloe is not in pain so far, but it is only a matter of days before I will have to put her to sleep.
So, please, reconsider using these pet beds and just use old blankets without any fill in them before you have to prepare yourself and your children to say goodbye to your family pet.
