Kindergarten students from Jenn Bruce's class at Pierceton Elementary spent a messy, gloppy afternoon studying science. Through activities that included making Cornstarch Goop, mixing various powders and liquids, and making pudding, the students identified and categorized things that were liquids and solids. Their experiments and observations led to several surprises - like when the vinegar and baking soda mixture erupted into bubbles - and lots of sloppy fun. Pictured with their hands in the goop are Mariah Brigham, Julian Cordero and Keith Bollinger.
