Jenni McCammon's fourth-grade class at Pierceton held a Publishing Party recently. Parents, grandparents and friends visited the classroom to read the students' writing projects. Each visitor was cordially greeted at the welcome table and given a pad of sticky notes and a pen. As visitors enjoyed the writing pieces, they were encouraged to leave short notes for each author. Following the party, students enjoyed reading the comments left by the guests.
