The problem with liars that tell you lies you want to believe is that they're still liars. The mainstream media loves to attack President Trump because they accuse him of being a liar. Maybe the biggest reason they hate him is because he reveals that they are liars.
Sure, the president has lied. Virtually all presidents have lied. Even George Washington relied on spies during the Revolution in order to defeat the British. Those people had to lie to the enemy. All the major wars we have fought relied on lies that people wanted to believe. The Civil War was fought because of the lie that black slaves were property and not citizens of America worthy of the protection of the Constitution. President Wilson and FDR lied to the voters that they wouldn't send our boys to fight in the world wars in order to be re-elected.
Lately, the media wanted to believe Jussie Smollett even though he lied about the attack he might be sent to jail for lying about. Those in the media that pointed out that the actor was lying were attacked by those that wanted to believe the lie. But I doubt they will retract their belief in the lies. They'll probably keep blaming Trump for attacks on blacks and gays even though many of those attacks are proving to be lies.
The media likes to say Trump isn't qualified to be president and that the divisions in society can be blamed on him. They seem to forget about the divisions that president Obama created. Compared to Trump, Obama didn't do as good a job of being president as Trump has done. If that is the case, why didn't the media attack him? Maybe it's because he told the American people lies they wanted to believe and the media was on his side that so often was against the people.
For the last two years, the media and those that believed their lies wanted to believe Trump had colluded with the Russians to become president. If there is no proof of that, the media will want to say the lies they believe are the truth and the truth is a lie. If they succeed, it won't be hard to believe that during the Tribulation people will believe the Antichrist even though he will be Satan's representative.
The accepted lie the Democrats are embracing is the Green New Deal. They want to say it will save money and save the world. If the pubic believes the lies about it, this nation might cease to exist as a major power. They want to believe the lies about socialism. Fool me once, shame on you. Blame me twice, shame on me. But if you can fool me all the time, maybe my news channels of choice are CNN and MSNBC.
