MARION - Peggy J. Phipps, 76, of Warsaw, died at 9:56 p.m. Jan. 28, 2008, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Jan. 19, 1932, in Vincennes, to Ellis and Marguerite Carrie. On Nov. 13, 1974, she married Gene H. Phipps, who died April 17, 1992.
She was a retired bookkeeper.
Surviving are a son, David (and spouse Pat) Folck, Warsaw; three grandchildren: Joe Folck, Warsaw; Marianne (and spouse Chris) Armstrong, Indianapolis; and Lori (and spouse Zac) Jones, Winona Lake; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bob (and spouse Barbara) Carrie, Keensburg, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Needham-Storey-Wampner, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, with Pastor Larry McCall officiating. Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery.
