SYRACUSE – Peggy A. “Peg” Cole, 63, of Milford, died at 12:18 p.m. April 11, 2013, in Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne. She was born Dec. 10, 1949, in Athens, Ga., to Carlton and Martha Cunningham Frix. On Dec. 30, 1972, in Talmo, Ga., she married Theodore J. “John” Cole, who survives. She grew up in Georgia and graduated in 1968 from Jefferson (Ga.) High School. She moved to the Syracuse/Milford area from George in 1983 and retired in 2010 from Wawasee Community School Corp. after 18 years as a paraprofessional. Also surviving are a daughter, Christy (and spouse Michael) Haab, Syracuse; two grandsons; her mother, Martha Frix, Jefferson; a sister, Charlotte (and spouse Ed) Gurley, Jefferson; and a brother, Carl Frix, Jefferson. Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Brad Cox officiating.
