Peabody To Host Community Alzheimer's And Dementia Meeting

NORTH MANCHESTER - Peabody Retirement Community will host an Alzheimer's and Dementia Education and Support group meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Strauss Center's Enrichment Center (on Peabody's campus).
According to the Rev. Sue Babovec, Peabody's director of spiritual life, "The program is open to all and is designed for family members, as well as friends of individuals entering or experiencing this challenging disease which affects over five million Americans."
The program will include an education piece, group conversations and refreshments. If attendees are interested, this will be an initial meeting for the formation of an ongoing support group.
