Evalee McKee from Anderson and Philip R. Payne from North Webster were united in marriage on March 10, 1957, at Central Christian Church, Anderson. They are the parents of four children: Steve (spouse Shelly) Payne, Faribault, Minn.; Susan (spouse Paul) Gilchrist, Indianapolis; Sandy (spouse Justin) Apotheker, Denver, Colo.; and Sherry (spouse Tom) Figura, Indianapolis. They also have 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. They are both retired from Metcalf and Payne PHC (now Metcalf, Payne & Bell) after 40 years of service.
