NORTH MANCHESTER – Pauline V. Sorg, 92, North Manchester, died at 6:20 p.m. March 4, 2015, at her residence. She was born July 3, 1922, in Allen County, to Carl and Bonita McBride Hulvey. On May 17, 1941, she married Wilbur J. Sorg, who died Nov. 26, 1974. She was a homemaker and loved flower gardens, stained glass, knitting and crocheting. She was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, North Manchester. Surviving are eight sons: Wayne (and spouse Donna) Sorg, Fort Wayne; Karl (and spouse Dorothy) Sorg, Wabash; Peter Sorg, Warren; Luke (and spouse Deb) Sorg, Huntington; Kevin (and spouse Sheila), Mark (and spouse Lorie), Keith (and spouse Rachelle) and Doug Sorg, all of North Manchester; seven daughters: Elaine Snyder, Marie (and spouse Tom) Hardy, Julie (and spouse Keith) Mobley and Gay Sorg, all of North Manchester; Bonnie (and spouse David) Reas, Fort Wayne; Susan (and spouse Don) Lance, Warsaw; and Pat (and spouse Chuck) Runyan, North Webster; a sister, Mary Ellen (and spouse Donald) Gottselig, Bloomington; 35 grandchildren; and 48 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Sorg; a sister, Marguerite Graft; a brother, James Hulvey; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Sorg; and one granddaughter, Karla Easterday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 1203 Ind. 114E, North Manchester, with a memorial service following at Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut St., North Manchester, with Father Andrew Curry and Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial is in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Yoder. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114W, North Manchester.
